This April we’re once again #CelebratingSocialCare focusing on the amazing people who work in care, and we’d love you to join the celebrations.
Since 2022, we’ve dedicated the month of April to #CelebratingSocialCare. Although we celebrate social care year-round, we use this month to celebrate a little bit louder and a little bit harder and we encourage everyone else to join in.
People who work in social care are highly skilled, passionate and hard-working and it’s important that we all take time to recognise the vital work they do. Without our sector’s dedicated workforce many people would not be able to live fulfilling lives in the way they choose.
Hear directly from those who are #CelebratingSocialCare and explore our blogs and articles where people working in adult social care share their experiences, insights, and why they love what they do.

We asked why #CelebratingSocialCare is important to you...
The more we highlight and celebrate the great work which takes place within this sector the greater the reach for people to see the good which is achievable.
By celebrating social care we are recognising the hard work and commitment our team and others put back into the sector. Valuing and rewarding staff is vital to growth and retention of staff. Our service users thrive from the great care we provide, thus promoting their wellbeing.
It highlights the dedication, compassion, and hard work of those in the sector who make a real difference in people鈥檚 lives.
This is vital because it makes staff feel valued, listened to, feel heard and service users empowered within their care
